Comfort Hotel Nagoya Kanayama

The location and food options were perfect for our trip. The room was nice and spacious. The lounge with coffee for guests was nice.

This is a no-nonsense hotel that provided everything we needed and did so efficiently. Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff...even loaned us an iron free of charge. Top it all off with a free breakfast, and it was some of the best value accommodations we found in Japan. The location is pretty good-being right next to Kanayama station means that almost any destination in Nagoya is a quick subway ride away and there is plenty of shopping and convenience stores nearby. We didn't really eat at any of the nearby restaurants, so can't say much about them.

Squeezing three beds into the room didn't leave much space for walking around, but that's been our experience at pretty much every Japanese hotel. I appreciate that they were able to provide the three beds!

Accommodating staff, clean room with a nice view, openable window for fresh air and all the amenities needed for a short stay. Right next to Kanayama station and many shops. They also allowed baggage storage prior to check-in and after check-out time. Did not expect the room to be as nice as it was.

The check-in process is done by yourself in the self check-in machine as usual in these chain hotels but the staff was helpful during the process.

I would like to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the bed and linen in my room. The condition of the bedding was not satisfactory, and I experienced significant itching on my legs shortly after lying down. This clearly indicates that there may be an issue with the hygiene or quality of the linen being used.Given that the hotel carries the name “Comfort,” the current state of cleanliness and comfort in the room was far below expectations, making the stay extremely unpleasant. I request that this matter be addressed on priority to ensure a hygienic and comfortable experience for all guests.

Great location. Plenty of retail and restaurants around Kanayama station. Close to parking and car hire companies. There's also a Family Mart just outside the ground floor entrance.Hotel was clean and spacious.No issues.

Great location - very close (easily walkable ~5 min) to Kanayama Station and easy to find. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and quite spacious compared to other places we stayed in Japan. Breakfast was about average. We enjoyed that it was included, but probably wouldn't have paid extra for it.

It was near at the train station, and a lot of restaurant nearby.

Not far from the station. A little cheaper than other hotels in downtown. The room a spacious enough for 2 people with big luggage. We didn't try their breakfast cause we have to leave early.

Their staff does not good English. Their laundry policy is weird. The staff will take my laundry out of the machine without your permission if others ask them to. I was not even far from the laundry room, and it was only 5 minutes after my laundry was done.

Convenient location.

The mirror in the bathroom and by the door had spots on them, but the room was clean overall.

The location is great, close to Kanayama station, if you catch the Meitetsu line express trains from Chubu central international airport, you don't need to change the train. The room is spacious, considering how small Japan’s accommodation can be. We are two adults and two children shared in one room.

Great location. It is close to the subway, just a few stops from Nagoya station. It has a lovely "cafe" area where you can have a take-out meal, relax, or work. Very clean and quiet.

- The staff isn't friendly at all. It was the only time I felt unwelcome in Japan. - The cafe area is too small for busy weekend breakfasts and is very crowded. It is better to wake up early to have your breakfast in comfort.

It was very accessible with train station in-front of the hotel. Family friendly and have a decent breakfast

Location is great but the breakfast wasn’t good. Some of dishes are too salty especially the miso soup…. Isn’t it an everyday thing in Japan?
